Cinemark Theatre Managers assist the General Manager in the operation of the theatre, in addition to the duties of a Senior Assistant Manager. It is suggested that either the General Manager or Theatre Manager be on duty when the theatre is open for business. They will participate in Team Member training, management team training, building maintenance, cash control, and completion of reports. They must be able to personally perform and/or effectively oversee all job functions in the theatre. Responsibilities include following the direction of the General Manager, supporting General Manager’s decisions in communication with Team Members, working in all departments and all theatre job functions, acting as the ‘Manager On Duty’ in the General Manager’s absence, training and coaching Team Members, assisting in preparation of reports, assisting with inventories and product orders, inspecting theatre building and property, reporting repair needs, enforcing policies and procedures, handling employee relations issues, ensuring dress code compliance, interacting with guests for improved service, sanitizing high-contact areas, addressing safety or security issues, utilizing PPE, adapting to cleaning tasks, and performing other duties as assigned. Requirements include being at least 18 years old, high school or G.E.D. preferred, minimum 6 months as Assistant Manager in theatre environment, Senior Assistant Manager experience preferred, completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program and passing assessment, food handling training and certification, Safe Alcohol Service training if working with alcohol, availability for flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, regular attendance, energetic and friendly attitude, excellent guest service, accurate cash handling, good communication skills in English, ability to work independently and in a team, ability to take direction, urgency, time management, organizational skills, ability to train and lead others, conflict resolution skills. Physical requirements include frequent bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and walking for extended periods, moderate to high noise levels.
