ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Director of Individual Giving is a newly created role that will develop, lead, and implement an individual giving program for GWI. The Director will be pivotal in growing GWI’s fundraising capacity by creating an ambitious strategic individual giving plan that builds on the existing fundraising efforts. This role is a front-line fundraiser who will focus on identifying, cultivating, and soliciting individual donors, managing the organization’s annual gala, designing and conducting individual donor cultivation events, implementing individual giving strategies such as a major gift and annual giving program, and developing systems and processes to support individual giving.
The Director will report to and partner closely with the Head of Partnerships and Giving, as well as partnering with the CEO and Board of Directors where appropriate. This role manages and partners with the Manager, Giving and Engagement, supporting them in their fundraising goals. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of GWI’s development efforts especially as the organization celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2025.

The successful candidate will be proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial with a proven track record in designing and executing multiple individual giving strategies. They will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and be excited to work cross-functionally with people who are passionate about their work and mission.
