The role demands deep technical expertise in Linux systems administration, automation, and enterprise-level infrastructure support. This consultant will support application deployments, monitor system health, and ensure high availability, security, and performance of systems supporting critical judicial functions. Roles and Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers across dev/test/prod environments. Perform system upgrades, patching, and security hardening. Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions. Automate system administration tasks using Ansible, Bash, or Python. Administer Red Hat Satellite, Identity Management (IdM), and associated ecosystem tools. Support enterprise applications such as Oracle WebLogic, PeopleSoft, ElasticSearch, and others. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and participate in vulnerability remediation. Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations. Create and maintain detailed system documentation and procedures. Provide guidance and support to development and operations teams. Participate in on-call rotation for incident resolution. Configure and manage NFS shares and Cron jobs. Respond on-site within 24 hours when required. Must-Have Skills Automation skills using Ansible, Bash, or Python . Experience configuring and managing Red Hat Satellite and IdM . Strong troubleshooting skills at the OS, application, and database levels. Experience supporting 24/7 mission-critical environments. Ability to configure load balancing, partitioning, backups, and DR solutions. Effective communication skills and ability to work in team settings. Preferred Skills 10+ years of Red Hat Linux system administration experience. 10+ years of experience administering AIX (IBM pSeries) systems. 15+ years of experience in the IT industry.
