Compliance Coordinator — Crimson Oak Strategies

Location: Remote (Must reside within 60 miles of Cleburne, TX)

Hourly Rate: $21 – $24 (Non-Exempt)

Crimson Oak Strategies, a boutique compliance consulting firm serving credit unions, is seeking a highly organized Compliance Coordinator to join our team. This is a fully remote position with occasional in-person training and meetings.

About the Role

The Compliance Coordinator plays a key role in supporting our clients by managing policy reviews, coordinating audit activities, maintaining compliance documentation, and facilitating communication between the Crimson Oak team and client leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Format client policies to meet established compliance standards.
  • Manage client policy review schedules and assignments using project management software.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to:
  • Clarify policy content and address questions
  • Explain procedures and review timelines
  • Provide reminders and follow-ups throughout the policy review process
  • Collaborate with clients to edit and revise policies as needed.
  • Gather required information from clients for board reports.
  • Prepare and publish monthly draft board reports for each client.
  • Track and follow up on board approvals of policies; update policy manuals and future review schedules accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of policy reviews and schedules.
  • Attend committee meetings to take minutes and compile meeting packets.
  • Coordinate audit activities, including managing findings and documentation through audit tracking software.

  • At least one year of professional work experience
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with project management and audit tracking software preferred
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Must reside within 60 miles of Cleburne, TX
