Pay Range: $3000 - $3450/ weekly

Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks with possible extension)

 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Med-Surg, Maternal and Child Care, Critical Care, and Pediatrics in acute care hospital settings. The ideal candidate will also have current adult home health experience and a commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care across diverse clinical settings. This role involves supporting patients through assessment, treatment, education, and ongoing care while collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe and effective outcomes.

 

Requirements:

• Current minimum 1 year of Home health experience and previous acute care experience is required in Med/Surg, Critical care, Pediatric, maternal care Unit.

   

• NYS RN License
• BLS Certified through AHA
• ACLS Certified through AHA
• PALS Certified through AHA
• COVID card

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across Med-Surg, Maternal/Child, Critical Care, and Pediatric settings.
• Conduct assessments, monitor patient conditions, and document clinical findings accurately.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered, ensuring patient safety.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support effective care and positive outcomes.

Skills:

• Strong clinical skills across Med-Surg, Maternal/Child, Critical Care, and Pediatric care.
• Proficient in patient assessment, monitoring, and clinical documentation.
• Excellent medication administration and care coordination abilities.
• Effective communication, patient education, and family support skills.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability in diverse care settings.
