Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring a KY or compact license and current NIHSS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is based in a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) within a hospital setting
• Work involves assignments in multiple ICU units including 4 South, 4 Towers, 5 South, and OHRR-CVIC
• Night shift schedule running from 6:45pm to 7:15am
• Responsible for delivering critical care to cardiovascular ICU patients
• A 50-mile radius rule applies; local travelers are not eligible for this travel position
• NIHSS certification must be provided prior to start date
• First-time travelers may be considered but must fulfill all requirements

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent CVICU experience required
• All certifications must be American Heart Association (AHA) and current for contract duration
• Active NIHSS certification required before start
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• No license issues (no ‘hits’ allowed on license)
• Completion of CPI training required, may be completed onsite
• COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations required
• Gaps in work history of 3 months or more must be explained
