AAA is seeking a full-time Travel Agent who can bring expertise, insight, and enthusiasm to every interaction. Experience is essential. Candidates should have a strong background in sales and a commitment to meeting goals, personal travel experiences to inspire clients, and certification from an accredited travel school (preferred). Responsibilities include selling international and domestic travel packages such as cruises, land packages, air travel, car rentals, and hotel accommodations; educating clients on preferred travel products and services; meeting or exceeding sales goals through relationship development and new business referrals; cross-selling relevant products like the AAA Travel Advantage Visa Credit Card; preparing and processing travel documents and invoices efficiently; and complying with Airline Reporting Corporation (ARC) regulations and AAA Club Alliance policies. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (travel school graduate preferred), at least 2 years of travel sales experience, excellent communication and customer service skills, proficiency in multitasking with computer programs, knowledge of geography and current world events, and satisfactory background screening. The position offers no work on Sundays, convenient store hours, paid holidays, paid time off including volunteer time, competitive hourly compensation ($16.93 to $21.64), monthly incentives, AAA Premier membership benefits, medical/dental/vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(K) plan with company match.
