System Administrator - Red Hat Enterprise Linux (SAL) Level 2 Position Summary DarkStar Intelligence seeks a highly skilled System Administrator - Red Hat Enterprise Linux (SAL) Level 2 to support mission-critical IT infrastructure. The selected candidate will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and optimizing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)-based systems in a secure, high-performance computing environment. This role involves installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the stability and security of Linux-based IT systems.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities - Provide support for the implementation and operation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux-based Information Technology (IT) systems.
- Install and configure Linux-based operating systems and their services according to provided specifications.
- Conduct day-to-day operations, such as account management, system health and status checks, and internal technical and security log review.
- Identify and correct common deficiencies and errors.
- Identify capacity, performance, and reliability issues and escalate them for resolution.
- Apply patches and configuration changes according to provided direction.
- Support the dispatching of hardware technicians and perform hardware maintenance.
- Automate basic tasks and use tools in order to provide concurrent management of multiple systems.
- Communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
Minimum Qualifications - Current Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
- US Citizen
- A high school diploma (or GED) is required.
- Two years of demonstrated IT experience in any related field.
- One year demonstrated Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration experience within the last five (5) years.
- An active Tier I certification related to Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration, such as the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification.
Salary Range $120,000- $140,000
This pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of specific compensation or salary.
