As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Your presence and attention to detail contribute to a secure and positive environment for all patrons and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including the business interior and perimeter.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and help to deter unauthorized entry or activities within the location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Support emergency response efforts and assist with evacuations or other procedures as directed by site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military is required.
• Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
