As a Security Officer – Warehouse Patrol in Fernley, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is a primarily driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle as well as on foot. You will also interact with individuals on site, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of teamwork, integrity, and reliability that define Allied Universal. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual activity, to the appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises as required by site procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner as directed by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for posts that primarily involve driving and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
