Job Description

The Retail Sales Associate delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The associate advises our valued clients by providing accurate information on our products, services, and best-value options and exhibits excellent customer care! The ideal candidate must be able to lift 45 pounds when needed. The Ideal Candidate has previous retail experience, continued work history, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful attitude, and a professional appearance. Responsibilities

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
• Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership
• Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
• Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices expertly and is willing to teach others
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned

Job Details

• The store is open 7 days per week; weekends are required.
• Full-time position with availability for all shifts, including weekends.
• The job will pay $14.00/hr - $15.00/hr.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Over 18 years old.
• Retail/customer service experience.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Able to cross-sell and up-sell products and services.
• Excellent packing skills.
• Excellent multi-tasking abilities.
• On-time attendance is non-negotiable.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
• Outstanding phone etiquette.
• Dependable and strong work history.
• Able to lift up to 45 pounds.
