Resource Manager

Location: Cleveland OH / Hybrid (Onsite 3 days/week)

Overview:

Talution Group is the premier provider of skilled talent for an evolving and highly revered client in the Cleveland, OH market. We are seeking a proactive, relationship-driven Engagement/Resource Manager (ERM) to support a rapidly growing Agile delivery team modernizing legacy systems at one of our flagship clients.

This individual will serve as a primary point of contact for both Talution consultants and client stakeholders—ensuring smooth daily operations, supporting strategic staffing growth, and enabling delivery excellence.

Role Summary:

The Engagement/Resource Manager will oversee onboarding, staffing alignment, and operational coordination for a delivery team experiencing significant headcount growth . You will collaborate with Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), and tooling admins to ensure operational readiness while freeing delivery leaders to focus on execution and strategy.

This is a high-impact, hybrid role that combines staffing expertise, operational rigor, and client engagement .

Key Responsibilities:

Resource & Demand Planning:

• Maintain a centralized staffing forecast across Agile programs and project workstreams
• Proactively identify upcoming resource needs and align talent accordingly

Onboarding/Offboarding Management:

• Coordinate onboarding logistics with Talent Acquisition, IT, and HR
• Ensure role clarity, access provisioning, and day-one readiness

Consultant Support & Relationship Management:

• Serve as primary point of contact for Talution consultants on the account
• Facilitate feedback loops, manage check-ins, and ensure consultant satisfaction and retention

Client Coordination:

• Act as the operational liaison between Talution Group and our client
• Build strong working relationships with client delivery leaders and ensure responsiveness

Operational Oversight:

• Track billable utilization, timesheet compliance, and staffing risks
• Align tools (Planview, Jira) to support resource visibility and accurate reporting

Strategic Input:

• Surface consultant and delivery insights to Talution leadership
• Support strategic growth plans by identifying expansion opportunities and operational improvements

Qualifications:

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in resource management, staffing coordination, or delivery operations
• Proven experience working with Agile delivery teams and enterprise clients
• Strong working knowledge of Jira, Planview, or similar project/resource management tools
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work hybrid from Cleveland, OH (3 days onsite/week)

Preferred:

• Experience in consulting or professional services firms
• Sales-oriented mindset with an eye toward growth and client development
• Agile or project management certifications (PMP, SAFe, etc.)
