Rehab Services Acute Coordinator
Full Time - Potential weekends and Holidays
Position Summary:
The Rehab Service Acute Coordinator :
Responsible for supervision and coordination of the inpatient teams of the Rehabilitation Services Department. Performs day-to-day problem-solving and long-range planning and program development. Acts as a primary resource to therapists in issues of clinical treatment and procedures. Provides appraisal of therapist activity during the year. Incorporates and operationalizes the goals and objectives of the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in their respective service line. Acts as a resource for functional areas. Must have Knowledge of business/financial/operation and personnel management.
Education:
Knowledge of basic social, behavioral, biological and physical sciences as required by an academic program.
Global knowledge of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Recreation Therapy foundations and theory, evaluation and treatment techniques, research and application, leadership and management as required by the academic program at the Bachelor of Science level or greater.
Knowledge of current health care environment.
Knowledge of business/financial/operation and personnel management.
Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.:
Current Maryland licensure in Physical, Occupational or Speech Language Pathology or Maryland certification in a Rehabilitation Health related field.
Valid CPR certification (Healthcare Provider) required
Work Experience:
Salary Range: Minimum $41.26/hour - Maximum $72.23/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
