Job Title: Packaging Operator
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Grafton ND

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will work closely with the Packaging Supervisor and Plant Operations Manager to ensure all seed packaging meets customer specifications with accurate labeling and high-quality standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining product integrity, safety, and efficiency within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely perform all assigned work activities in accordance with company policies
• Apply correct tags and/or labels to seed packages based on customer instructions
• Accurately count and report inventory of bagged seed
• Lift, move, and stack materials weighing up to 65 lbs
• Stand for extended periods while filling and closing packaged products
• Safely operate a forklift (certification required; training provided)
• Climb stairs and ladders as needed to monitor and adjust equipment
• Clean equipment thoroughly to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area

Qualifications & Skills:

• Agricultural background preferred
• Basic computer skills required; advanced proficiency a plus
• Familiarity with seed production or related processes is beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively

Requirements:

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Prior forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus
