Summary

Full-Time NURSE MIDWIFE Wanted - Director, Centering Pregnancy Program

LifeBridge Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Midwife for the Director of Centering Pregnancy Program to join our LBHMG team.

LifeBridge Health is a $2B, 13,000 team member healthcare system that Cares Bravely for over 2.5 million patient encounters annually throughout Maryland. We are comprised of 5 Hospitals, and a network of 130 outpatient practices. Our main hospitals are Sinai Hospital, Northwest Hospital, Carroll Hospital, Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, and Grace Medical Center. Our LifeBridge Health Medical Group (LBHMG) practices are in Baltimore and in surrounding counties and offer primary and specialty care services to patients within our community.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Nurse Midwife who is comfortable both managing their own patients. We are ideally looking for someone with 5-7 years of experience.

This is an onsite position at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore City.

Requirements

• Marland Registered Nurse License
• AHA CPR Certification
• CNM in MD

Responsible for project management for the service and ensure key functions required for Centering delivery are delegated and maintained:

• Schedule and coordinate Centering groups
• Maintain topic schedule and curriculum
• Support Advanced Practice Nurses conducting Centering groups
• Oversight for recruitment and screening of potential participants
• Monitor class census to ensure adequate numbers
• Coordinate training of facilitators
• Coordinate guest facilitators and speakers
• Collaborate with Residency Program Director to develop resident participation

Maintain regular Steering Committee meetings

Update and maintain CHI’s tools to support advancing centering (eg CenteringWorks)

Document Steering Committee minutes in CenteringWorks within five days of each meeting

Maintain current site license in accordance with terms of agreement with Centering Healthcare Institute (CHI)

Provide CHI Advisor with regular updates to ensure ongoing progress toward service goals

Report Data to Centering Health Care Institute

• Each calendar quarter using data collection tool supplied by CHI
