Life Enrichment Supervisor – Bronx, NY

Job Type: FTE/Permanent

We are seeking an experienced and creative Life Enrichment Supervisor to join our Independent Living community. The ideal candidate will be passionate about enhancing residents’ quality of life through engaging programs and activities that promote independence, wellbeing, and social connection.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and implement on-site and off-site activities, events, and programs.
• Develop and distribute monthly activity calendars and daily schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate volunteers and outside consultants.
• Maintain attendance records and evaluate program participation.
• Manage the annual activities budget and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Encourage resident involvement and promote a vibrant community culture.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in recreation, therapeutic activities, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Relevant fields of study may include human services for dependent adults, gerontology, home economics, art therapy, music therapy, or physical education.
• Experience in residential care, rehabilitation, or healthcare management preferred (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Demonstrates a dynamic and engaging personality, creativity, and flexibility.
• Must complete at least 10 hours of continuing education annually.

Compensation: $60,000 – $65,000 annually
