Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of a dynamic production environment supporting various machining operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Mount Vernon, IL

Pay Range: $24 - $27 per hour

What's the Job?

• Program, set up, operate, and reassemble CNC machines.
• Utilize Mastercam or Conversational programs for machining tasks.
• Work with steel and other materials to produce high-quality components.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards during operations.
• Collaborate with team members to improve machining processes.

What's Needed?

• One year of programming experience with Mastercam or Conversational programs.
• Ability to program, set up, operate, and reassemble CNC machines.
• Preference for candidates with experience working with steel.
• Willingness to undergo a drug screen (oral screen acceptable, does not test for THC).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
