The Box Office Staff role involves financial and cash handling duties including ensuring compliance with cash handling policies, balancing and reconciling daily/nightly ticket sales, assisting management with pricing initiatives and ticket counts, and working with Premium Seat Sales/VIP on upgrades and reports. Customer service responsibilities include providing prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service in person and over the phone, facilitating night of show Will Call & Guest List operations, troubleshooting show issues, working with Guest Services on ADA requirements, and providing event knowledge and positive energy. Other duties include daily operations on Ticketmaster host system, following opening and closing procedures, maintaining call center phone system, assisting with box office cleanliness, updating spreadsheets, managing Lost & Found, and possibly covering 3rd party venues. The role requires knowledge of cash handling, customer service, basic Microsoft applications, a flexible schedule, tolerance of all cultures and music forms, and a high school diploma. Preferred qualifications include attention to detail, ticket sales knowledge, live entertainment operations experience, Ticketmaster host system experience, and experience identifying counterfeit cash/IDs.
