Job Description Salary: Tri-City Group is seeking an Audio-Visual Project Engineer for Davenport, IA. The Audio-Visual Project Engineer will be responsible for on-site administrative and technical support on audio-visual projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Overseeing the development of AV architectural drawings, system flows, cable/conduit risers, and product detail pages. Reviewing and refining bills of material. Communicating infrastructure and architectural requirements to construction teams. Communicating system implementation plans to installation teams. Communicating AV networking requirements to clients' network teams. Identifying and developing change orders. Managing the quality of deliverables. Attaining and maintaining manufacturer and industry-related certifications as required. Operating and managing in adherence to company rules and policies. Possessing senior-level technical knowledge of audio-visual products and infrastructure. Having a strong understanding of networking as it pertains to AV. Having full understanding and experience with project technical documents, including engineering/architectural drawings and project schedules. Supporting the project manager in procurement, purchasing, subcontract and lease agreements, and equipment tracking. Maintaining presence during project and coordination meetings. Assisting in gathering documentation for field testing and closeout documents. Assisting in tracking and scheduling final punch list items and owner training. Working with PMAs on submitting proper documentation for projects. Assisting in the shop drawing review process. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in design, engineering, or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. At least 1 year of related experience in audiovisual systems design, integration, and project management. Knowledge of DTools or experience with other system integration platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must possess strong attention to detail, tact, and consideration, with a focus on accuracy. They should have solid communication skills, positive initiative, good judgment, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to meet deadlines.
