As an Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in shaping the guest experience by managing and inspiring our Housekeeping team to maintain exceptional standards! The day-to-day responsibilities include managing assigned operational functions consistent with the strategic plan/vision for the department, division, and property; managing the delivery and measurement of guest service standards within Housekeeping; managing Human Resources responsibilities including creating a work environment that fosters teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction; quality hiring encompassing the company’s diversity commitment, training, disciplinary action, succession planning, adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and collective bargaining agreements; managing accountability processes for the division ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines, company policies, and legal requirements; managing short and long-term departmental objectives and notifying Executive Housekeeper of any issues; continuously evaluating staffing levels and providing recommendations; responding to guest service interactions professionally and timely; inspecting rooms daily to ensure sanitation and standards; training Housekeeping Floor Managers on room inspections; establishing effective working relationships with all departments; and working closely with Scheduling Attendants to ensure bidding processes are handled according to policies and timelines. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
