Overview

Sodexo is seeking an Area General Manager for Bridgeport Hospital located in Bridgeport, CT.

Bridgeport Hospital is a private, not-for-profit acute care facility and a member of Yale-New Haven Health System. It has 501 licensed beds across its campuses and manages Food & Nutrition, Environmental Services, Patient Transportation, and a Service Response Center. This role involves managing a high-profile, multi-service, long-term client account.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 8 managers and 120 frontline staff.
• Oversee clinical nutrition, retail, and patient dining programs at Bridgeport and Milford campuses.
• Supervise vending services at Park Avenue Medical Center in Trumbull, CT.
• Act as a Department Head and participate in the hospital's Administrative Council.
• Engage with C-suite level management regularly.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of multi-unit healthcare food service management experience.
• High-level C-suite experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for patient and customer service aligned with Sodexo CARES values.
• Knowledge of nutrition and specialized diets.
• Experience overseeing diet offices.

Qualifications & Requirements
