Chipton-Ross is seeking a Work Place Coach for a contract opportunity in Everett, WA.
100% onsite
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
1. Must have Client experience.
2. 10+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
3. 10+ years of experience with assembly and structures manufacturing.
4. 10+ years of experience with sheet metal assemblies, drilling, countersinking, riveting, and fastener installation.
5. Experience analyzing and interpreting data from multiple sources.
6. Ability to obtain security clearance is required for this position.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trains less experienced employees in group leadership and facilitation skills. Coordinates complex activities across multiple functions and outside organizations to maintain and improve operational efficiency in support of enterprise operations. Identifies and mitigates the impact of changes on the production system. Leads teams to conduct assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk. Leads organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives. Works under consultative direction.
- This role is supporting the KC-46 Boom Shop
- They will be a workplace coach
- They will be in a coaching role to advise best practices
- Structures manufacturing SME (expectation)
- Looking at defect reports and suggest how to prevent that from happening in the future
- Required to work hand and hand with leadership from a coaching perspective
- Make an assessment/ guidance on what is needed to operations
- Log all of coaching activities (used for metric reporting)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Military aircraft programs (examples: KC46, P8, E7).
- Experience with coaching one or more individuals at a time and providing feedback.
- Understanding, interpreting, and delivering specific process driven instruction based on feedback from Manufacturing Operations and Quality.
- Works well in a collaborative team environment.
- Has the ability to adjust course in a dynamic shop floor manufacturing environment.
- Completed a blueprint reading class.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have the ability to crouch down and kneel.
- Must have the ability to coach off product in the same manner that manufacturing is performed.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK HOURS: MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING 1st, 2nd or 3rd SHIFT.

ADDITIONAL:
Travel Required: Potential to travel between Everett and Tukwila for one week at a time.
